Hace pocos días comenzó su actividad el tercer operador de coche eléctrico compartidos en Madrid, Zity, que se une a Car2Go y a Emov. Entre los tres cuentan con una flota de 1.600 vehículos. Madrid se ha convertido en el laboratorio de esta modalidad. ¿El plan? Implementar este servicio con vehículos cero emisiones en otras ciudades españoles y europeas.
¿Y esto de qué va?
La primera en implementar este servicio con coches eléctricos en Madrid fue Car2Go, a finales de 2015 con el visto bueno del Ayuntamiento. La operativa no tiene muchas complicaciones, tan solo hay que descargar la App, abrir la ubicación, ver el vehículo situado más cercano de donde nos encontramos, reservar y listo. Al llegar al vehículo lo abrimos con el móvil, la llave física está dentro, lo usamos, aparcamos, guardamos la llave y lo cerramos con el móvil. La facturación se hace por minutos, Car2Go empezó cobrando 19 céntimos pero ahora, cobra 21 céntimos y unos 59 euros el día.
El éxito de esta modalidad estaba asegurado y se evidenció cuando un año después apareció Emov, actualmente es la que cuenta con la flota más grande superando los 160.000. Thomas Beerman, consejero delegado de Car2Go afirma que «no es un problema que aparezcan más operadoras, si más empresas quieren entrar en el negocio es que estamos haciendolo bien”.
«Moto sharing» y seguro
Izquierdo no cree que la llegada de compañías de motos 100% eléctricas como eCooltra, Muving y Ioscoot les afecte, ya que el usuario es diferente, «son servicios complementarios», a lo que Javier Mateos, de Zity, añade «a donde no llega la excelente red de transporte público de Madrid». Además, se prevé la llegada de operadores como Yugo, que ya funciona en Barcelona con Vespas eléctricas.
Pero los grandes desconocidos de este servicio son sus seguros. Tanto Emov, Car2Go como Zity ofrecen un seguro, con franquicia de 500 euros, similar: el usuario es responsable de todos los daños ocasionados inferiores a esa cantidad. Para las motos es más flexible, por ejemplo eCooltra e Ioscoot ofrecen bajar la franquicia a 99 euros si se opta por una tarifa con el minuto de uso más caro.
Hay una diferencia fundamental entre las operadoras de Carsharing en términos de cobertura por el seguro. Con Emov, si uno resulta herido, dispone de asistencia médica durante un año; en caso de muerte o invalidez permanente, la compañía indemniza con hasta 12.000 euros. En el caso de Zity, las coberturas por muerte o invalidez son de hasta 15.000 euros y la asistencia dura un año; además, es la única que ofrece asistencia gratuita en viaje. Por el contrario, Car2Go no ofrece ninguna de estas coberturas.
