Las tarifas con discriminación horaria son las grandes desconocidas del sector energético, pero la lógica para contratarla es sencilla: se paga menos en un tramo del día, en conceptos de peaje, con respecto al precio del kW/h durante ese período, es decir, resulta más barato que el resto del día.

¿Cuál es el objetivo?

Controlar el consumo eléctrico durante el periodo en el que no se reducen los costes. Sin embargo, los usuarios temen contratarla, entre otras cosas por no saber cómo congeniar los horarios de consumo con el de la tarifa más baja.

El resultado, que poco más del 5% de la población se beneficie con esta tarifa.

¿Por qué elegir la discriminación horaria?

Te ofrecemos algunas razones de peso para contratar este tipo de tarifa:

1.- La tarifa con discriminación horaria no es una tarifa nocturna. Tiene 14 horas al día baratas y sólo 10 horas caras.
No es necesario poner la lavadora ni cocinar por la noche para ahorrar.

2.- Sólo es necesario un 30% de consumo en horario valle.
El frigorífico, el gran consumidor de electricidad en las viviendas, se encarga él sólo de acumular un 18% de media.
Los hogares que no tienen contratada esta tarifa, consumen un 50% en horario valle.

3.- Cuando contratamos una tarifa debemos pensar en nuestro a día a durante toda la semana. La mayor parte de los consumidores, cuando valoramos si nos interesa la tarifa con discriminación horaria, sólo pensamos en lo que hacemos de lunes a viernes y olvidamos que el fin de semana también consumimos y nos ajustamos más fácilmente al horario valle.

4.- Un hogar medio ahorra al año 70 euros por tener la tarifa con discriminación horaria.

5.- Con el nuevo contador no hay que hacer cambios en la instalación. El contador ya es capaz de controlar el consumo hora a hora.

6.- Es reversible. Si tienes mala suerte y eres uno de los pocos hogares que no consiguen ahorrar con esta tarifa, no debes preocuparte mucho. Puedes volver a la situación anterior, aunque algunas distribuidoras exigen una permanencia mínima de un año.

No corras el riesgo de perdértelo…
